Weekend Institute: Teaching and Learning in Out-of-School Time (ED561)
Choose to earn graduate or undergraduate credit from Arcadia University while deepening your knowledge and skills as an out-of-school time leader. Examine and put into practice latest research from the field, gold standards for quality, techniques and methods, and authentic demonstrations of learning.
Graduate Track: Explore and apply theories of learning, analyze new directions in the field, investigate systemic quality improvement efforts, and research your key area of interest
Undergraduate Track: Identify gold standards for quality, go deeper with concepts of youth voice and choice, and get hands-on experience with teaching methods for out-of-school time learning
Continue the learning with four online follow-up assignments, grounding theory in applied practice at your site, with your programs.
